Welcome to New Brunswick High School and its proud tradition of Excellence in Academics, Athletics and the Arts. NBHS encourages and fosters partnerships between teachers, students, parents, and the community. New Brunswick High School provides a caring, supportive environment where the needs of students are paramount. The curriculum is broad, diversified and comprehensive, allowing students to structure their own challenges. NBHS encourages high expectations and achievement.

New Brunswick High School has a comprehensive curriculum geared to meet the needs of our 1250+ students in grades 9-12, and to prepare our students for the twenty-first century.

A Junior Air Force ROTC program is offered for those interested in exploring a military career. Advanced placement (honors/accelerated) and college preparatory courses, vocational programs are offered. Our high school also offers an extensive student activities and athletic programs.

Cultural activities, clubs and sports are an integral part of our program. They provide an opportunity for exploration in areas of interest outside the classroom. In an atmosphere of freedom, students learn to express themselves, to share, to work together, to learn respect for the rights of others, and to work toward a common goal.

Our goal at New Brunswick High School is to prepare our students to become productive members of society and to motivate students to continue their formal or informal education. Through the services of our guidance department, students have access to material on colleges, scholarships, academic programs and occupational information.

The academic goal of NBHS is closely interfaced with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. Our goal is to provide for each of our students the opportunity of a thorough and efficient high school education.

We are proud of the many accomplishments of NBHS students. Our students excel academically, socially, athletically and in the work place. We enhance the exposure of our students by positively showcasing their talents and accomplishments within the New Brunswick community.
